Bhagsunag Fall
Situated at a distance of 11 km from Dharmsala town, Bhagsu Falls is one of the spectacular sights especially because it needs a bit of hard work to reach it. Bhagsunag Fall is one of the major tourist attractions of Mcleodganj. On a way to the falls one can come across the beautiful stones that outline a valley that once could have been the connecting river. It dries in the months of March and April and waits for the rainy season. The major attraction of Bhagsunag fall is an ancient Shiva Temple. As you reach the climb you get mesmerized by the panoramic beauty of the place and forget about all the pain and toll to reach the place. You can take a dip in the chilly waters of the fall and enjoy the hot awesome coffee which is available at the falls. There are trek routes to Triund near the fall. Bhagsunag waterfall is a huge fall and a picturesque one as well.

St. John Church
situated at a distance of 8 km from Dharamsala the St. John church lies in the forest between Mcleod Ganj and Forsyth Ganj. It is an Anglican Church it is the monument dedicated to Lord Elgin. The Neo Gothic stone building of the church was constructed in 1852. The site also has a memorial of British Viceroy Lord Elgin who died at Chauntra in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh was buried over here in 1863 AD along with a Christian cemetery. The Church building is also noted for its Belgian stained glass window donated by Lady Elgin. The Church is heavily surrounded by wooded pine and deodar forest. Visiting timing to the Church is from 10 AM to 5 P.M daily with special 11A.M Sunday Service.

Situated at a distance of 14 km from Dharamsala and 2 km from Mcleodganj , the village Dharamkot is a picnic spot that offers its visitors the panoramic views of the Kangra Valley and the Dhauladhar Ranges. One can easily reach Dharamkot by a simple trek from Bhagsu. Dharamkot Village is a good base for trekkers undertaking short and long treks. The path is decked with various small restaurants and shops for quick relaxation and beverages. The scenery from Dharamkot is simply breathtaking and you also meet the Gaddi folks as well.
