Chamunda Devi Temple
Overlooking the mighty Dhaudhar Ranges, the Chamunda Devi Temple is just 24 km from Kangra and 15 km from Dharamshala. Situated on the banks of river Ban Ganga, at an altitude of 10,000 m above the sea level the ancient temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamunda Devi the temple is about 700 years old. Also known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham this sacred temple is an abode to Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti. The temple complex is an enchanting spot that offers the naturally blesses views of Dhauladhar Ranges, Baner Khad and Dadh. The temple comprises a big complex with a Kund or Pond in it where the devotees take a holy dip. Due to its utterly sacred importance the main deity of the temple is not accessible to the visitors and is kept under the cover.

Situated at a distance of 17 km from Dharamshala town, 9 km from Bhagsu Nag at an altitude of 2,827 m above the sea level Triund Trek is quite popular among the foreigners. Triund is the name of a ridge in the Dhauladhar Himalayas and it shows a very close look for Moon Peak- Indera Pass. It is a popular picnic spot and a paradise for trekkers. The snow line starts just 5 km from Triund and offers the panoramic views of the snow above the valley.

Kunal Pathri Temple
Located at a distance of 3 km from Dharamsala In the lap of the Dhauladhar Ranges Kunal Pathri Temple is dedicated to Goddess Kapaleshwari. Located near the beautiful tea garden, the temple offers the panoramic views of Dhauladhar Ranges. It is an ideal place to enjoy the freshness of the nature in long walks along with the blessings from the mother Goddess.

Dal Lake
Located at a distance of 11 km from Lower Dharamsala amidst the misty hills and deodar trees the name of the lake is taken from the famous Dal Lake of Kashmir. It is a small mid altitude lake which is 1,175 m above the sea level near the village of Tota Rani in Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. The lake is surrounded by deodar trees and is blessed with a Shiva Temple on its banks. The Dal lake also serves as a starting point for excursion and trekking due to its location as it is very close to Tibetan Children’s village. The banks of the lake are enlivened every September by a fair attended by locals and large number of migrant Gaddi folk.
